The Gorillas are not in fact native to the Island, they first arrived through Time Travel Wormholes, but they have succeded in breeding and establishing their territory. There are two distinct families of Gorilla to be found, the Island Gorilla who are the least aggressive in nature and enjoy scavenging on the beaches and the Mountain Gorillas who are more wary of Humans and prefer the higher reaches.

The Gorillas are a cousin of the Mystical Kongs and often if their Territory is under sustained attack, the Giant Kongs have been known to come to their aid.

Note

It is necessary to find this mob or Mountain Gorilla to loot CND Bananas to get off the island and back to Rocktropia.
